IF YOU ARRIVE IN VENICE BY PLANE
by boat
You can reach B&B Hortus from Marco Polo airport by water using the service offered by Alilaguna (‘Arancio’ line).
Once you have taken the water bus, just get off at the Ca’Rezzonico stop. The ticket for this route has a price of € 15.00, the return ticket has a cost of € 27.00. From the Ca’Rezzonico stop you will reach B&B Hortus on foot in about 5 minutes, always going straight along Calle del Tragheto, Campo S.Barnaba and Calle Lunga San Barnaba (there are no bridges along the way). Ten meters before the bridge you will find a gate on the right (street number 2632): generally the gate is open and just push the left side (if you find it closed please call us). by bus and water bus
You can reach B&B Hortus from Marco Polo airport by bus plus water bus. For the bus from the airport to Piazzale Roma, you can choose between two services: ATVO direct line Marco Polo Airport – Piazzale Roma or ACTV Line 5 (see timetables and fares on the official websites).
The ACTV Line 1 water bus leaves regularly from Piazzale Roma. All the routes stop at Ca’Rezzonico. From the Ca’Rezzonico stop you will reach B&B Hortus on foot in about 5 minutes, always going straight along Calle del Tragheto, Campo S.Barnaba and Calle Lunga San Barnaba (there are no bridges along the way). Ten meters before the bridge you will find a gate on the right (street number 2632): generally the gate is open and just push the left side (if you find it closed please call us). IF YOU ARRIVE IN VENICE BY CAR
The most convenient 24h parking to reach our structure (and also the cheapest) is the Tronchetto Parking (cost € 25 per day). The ACTV Line 2 water bus (towards S.Zaccaria) leaves near the car park: get off at the S.Basilio stop and from here you will walk to B&B Hortus in 5 minutes through Calle del Vento, Campo de S.Basegio, Fondamenta de S.Basegio, Calle Avogaria and Ponte de l’Avogaria. Ten meters after the bridge you will find a gate on the left (street number 2632): generally the gate is open and just push the left side (if you find it closed please call us). If, on the other hand, you park in the garages in Piazzale Roma: the ACTV Line 1 water bus leaves regularly from Piazzale Roma. All the routes stop at Ca’Rezzonico.
